Stephen Francis Voorhees (1878-1965)
My Uncle Frank, as he was known, was my mother's great uncle by mariiage. He and his wife, Aunt Mabel, had one child who died at birth. They were very enamored of my mother and her family, as she was the only grand niece / nephew in the Buys family.
Uncle Frank helped finance my mother's Middlebury College education. He had a beautiful home along the banks of the Hudson River in Nyack, on Voorhees Point, where the Buys family lived for a time as well.
